Have you ever caught yourself saying those seven words?
I will never drive a mini van.
I’ve said them many times when I was young and only had one child to care for. Little did I know that when I laid down my own desires and chose the best answer, I don’t regret it. My mini van is easier for me to get in and out off, it provides the space for our growing family, and I kind of love it.
As mothers, wives, and homemakers, we must learn to make wise decisions. When we lay down our pride and our selfishness we can truly serve our family in the way God has called us to.
To read my story, go to Embracing a Simpler Life and see why I did choose to get a mini van and what I have learned since making this sacrifice for my family.
