Parenting with Humility is a blog dedicated to provide encouragement and community through your own parenting journey.
Every day I am met with challenges and trials that test my patience. Although, through my own mistakes and thoughts, I know that their is always a lesson to be learned. My passion is to share with you the little lessons that I feel God shows me in every day life. His grace and love are evident when you live a life that seeks wisdom. I pray that this blog would remind other moms that our relationship with Christ comes before being a mother. He is our purpose and our strength, it’s through Him that we will be successful as a parent. Whether you are a new mom, that is struggling with the big changes that come from having a newborn or a mom with multiple children, this blog exists to encourage you.
What we believe:
We believe that Christ should remain the center of the home. Our goals are to create a home that shines the light of Christ into our children’s lives so that they will be prepared to live a life pleasing to the Lord. It’s never too young to start training your children to love and serve the Lord, and teaching children to have biblical character not only makes your job a little easier but is crucial for raising future leaders. Our passion is to encourage growth as a family unit and to work together to build a home that glorifies God.
Hi! I live in the NC mountains with my wonderful husband. We have an almost 2 year old boy, and three girls ages 3, 5, and 3 months. God has blessed us with a special love for family and the ability to be at home together almost all of the time. While I have already started preschool at home with my girls, we do plan to homeschool this year. When I’m not teaching my little ones, I enjoy crafting, cooking healthy meals, and organizing, which you will see reflects my blog. I started THM in August of 2014 and have found freedom from food addiction. To read more about my journey to health read my post: My diet is no longer about losing weight. My reason for starting this blog is because I have a big heart for moms and I hope to become a friend that shares what God is teaching me through my motherhood journey. Being in small town where most of the moms I know work all day, I have longed for community and connection with other stay-at-home moms, but I hope that my posts can relate to all mothers. Feel free to contact me! I would love to hear from you and learn about what God is doing in your life!
